Seis videos circulares rotan a 33 revoluciones por minuto en cinco pantallas de televisión sin lógica aparente.

Cada vídeo muestra a una persona que canta, a capella y en solitario, una canción pop de su elección. El audio que le acompaña es una versión distorsionada del tema original (un archivo mp3 descargado de internet) en la que el tempo ha sido modificado para que siga el ritmo del nuevo cantante.

Mediante un pequeño giro jerárquico las canciones que se han interiorizado imponen su ritmo particular a las originales y cuestionan el control y la propiedad del ritmo en la música pop.

Six round shaped videos, rotating at 33 rpm, play with no apparent sequential logic in five laying TV monitors displayed in a circle.

Each video shows a person singing a pop-song of his/her choice, in solitude and a capella. The audio is a modified version of the original song (a mp3 file downloaded from the Internet) where the tempo has been distorted to follow the rhythm of that new singer. Each audio can be heard both through headphones connected to the monitors, or as an overall murmur.

This small hierarchical twist allows those songs we have interiorized impose their rhythm to its original recordings and question the ideas of control and property of rhythm in pop music.
