El clásico de la música electrónica de Orbital “Time Becomes” (1991) samplea parte del diálogo del capítulo “Time Squared¨ de la serie “Star Trek – The Next Generation”:

“Worf (Jefe de Seguridad): There is this theory of the Moebius, a twist in the fabric of space, when time becomes a loop.”

Un sample de video de la respuesta a esta frase en el diáogo original es editado replicando la estructura de la canción de Orbital en un bucle que gira a 33 revoluciones por minuto:

Orbital’s music is often described as metaphysical techno. This cover of the song is quite an absurd attempt to overcome its philosophical limitations through a reconfiguration of its sources and its temporality.
