Normally it takes 4 months at least to make my work. It is because the process of each project is very important in my work. The process shows inevitably through the relationship of people and their community.
This work was made in 5 months of time where I was living in a small village inside of mountain. I wanted to make every shot in natural position, so the people in society would not recognize me (artist) nor the camera.
They are having an annual meeting, introducing the president of year, and schemes they need to discuss and announce important things. It is exactly like the national assembly meeting, only it is the smallest local autonomous entity you can meet. But they are our daughters, mothers, neighbors and also importantly, a member of housewives Party.
This work shows very basic reason why I use double meanings. It is because those double meaning words are always coexisting in a way. Party should be fun.
